Exotic foods find Tucson fans

Quintessential French dish, the pot-a-feu at Downtown Kitchen is topped with bone marrow, the soft tissue nestled inside bones. The entree, generally offered during the cooler months, comes with French bread, cornichons and mustard, and horseradish cream sauces.

Tucson has been recognized globally for its food scene.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization selected Tucson as the first city in North America (along with Ensenada, Mexico) to earn a Worldwide City of Gastronomy designation Friday morning, says the organization's website
