There was an uptick in interest for retail space as businesses recently bought or leased several spots around town.

Entrada Contenta Lot 2 LLC bought two retail buildings at 5726-5730 E. Broadway for $230,000. The buildings have about 7,200 square get of showroom space. Pat Darcy, of Tucson Realty & Trust Co., represented the seller, Bow B AZ-Retail LLC, and John Ash and Nancy McClure, of CBRE, represented the buyer.

  • Tucson Rubberized Coatings Inc. bought a 2,000-square-foot commercial building and an 836-square-foot storage building at 1430 W. Wetmore Road from Stephen Joseph Enos and Susan Patricia Enos for $190,000. Jeff Zellet, with Picor, represented the seller in this transaction.
  • Mark’s Ace Hardware leased 9,895 square feet at Tucson Place Shopping Center on the northwest corner of First Avenue and Wetmore Road. Andy Seleznov and Melissa Lal represented the landlord, Larsen Baker, and Marty Olejarczyk, of De Rito Partners, represented the tenant.
  • Atek Engineering Consultants LLC leased 4,416 square feet in Broadbent Industrial Center, 2015 N. Forbes Blvd., from Forbes Tucson LLC. Rob Glaser, with Picor, represented the landlord and Esther Empens, with Tierra Antigua Realty, represented the tenant.
  • BodyCentral Physical Therapy PC leased 3,800 square feet of retail space at 3601 W. Cortaro Farms Road from Pacific Income Properties LLC. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, represented the tenant and Brian Chang and Jason Wong, of Red Point Development Inc., represented the landlord.
  • On-Time Food Services, Inc., dba Cedars Mediterranean Foods, leased 2,540 square feet at 746 E. 46th St. from RRL Inc. Brandon Rodgers, with Picor, represented the landlord and Dave Gallaher, of Tucson Industrial Realty, represented the tenant.
  • Coronado Internal Medicine PC leased 2,400 square feet at Wilmot Professional Plaza, on Wilmot Road, just south of Grant Road. Andy Seleznov and Melissa Lal represented the landlord, Larsen Baker, and Andrew Sternberg, of Oxford Realty Advisors LLC, represented the tenant.
  • Everest Souvenirs leased 1,600 square feet at 423 N. 4th Ave. from Rich Rodgers North Inc. Picor’s Brandon Rodgers handled this transaction.
  • Southern Arizona Maintenance Service LLC leased 1,500 square feet at 3534–3538 N. Romero Road from Costa Verde Investments LLC. Ron Zimmerman, with Picor, represented the landlord.
  • Hardcore 24 Gym LLC leased 1,500 square feet at 3534–3538 N. Romero Road from Costa Verde Investments LLC. Picor’s Ron Zimmerman represented the landlord.
