Thirty-five beers will be on tap at the new pub in Marana’s Continental Ranch neighborhood.

Owner Kyle Schwab was instrumental three years ago in launching the Casa Film Bar.

Marana’s newest homage to craft beer will start pouring on Friday, June 22.

Casa Marana Craft Beer + Wine, 8225 N. Courtney Page Way off Interstate 10 and North Cortaro Road, will have 35 brews on tap alongside a trio of wines when it officially opens its doors at 6 p.m. Friday.

The cooler will be filled with 480 varieties of canned and bottled craft beers and 50 wines for package sales.

Casa Marana is owned and operated by Kyle Schwab, who was instrumental in launching the Casa Film Bar three years ago inside his mother and uncle’s long-running Casa Video store at 2905 E. Speedway. The video store is not connected to the Marana taproom.

Casa Marana is the second craft-beer-centric pub in Marana’s Continental Ranch neighborhood; Growler’s Taphouse, which has 30 regional and local craft beers on tap, opened last August at 8285 N. Silverbell Road, about two miles away.

And coming in late summer or early fall, brothers Ty and Tad Hammett and their wives β€” Elyse and Dule, respectively β€” will open Caps and Corks a few miles east in the Sprouts shopping center off I-10 and West Orange Grove Road. All three share the same business template: Emphasis on craft beer with a special interest in Tucson and Arizona brewers.

Casa Marana’s regular hours beginning Saturday, June 23, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
