Tucson’s hidden gems have an opportunity to shine as nominations open for the Arizona Daily Star’s fourth annual Readers’ Choice program.
The 2018 Readers’ Choice program offers Tucson-area businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services and mobilize customers to voice their satisfaction through votes.
As consumers continue to rely heavily on reviews and recommendations when deciding which businesses to patronize, the Readers’ Choice program has generated more than 430,000 votes for over 14,000 local firms in 300-plus categories since its inception in 2015.
Customers can nominate their favorite businesses in categories ranging from best burrito and best bartender to best veterinarian and best mortgage lender from July 15 to July 22 at tucson.com/ readerschoice. Businesses can also self-nominate to appear on the voting ballot.
Voting follows on July 23 through Aug. 1.
Participating businesses can request free campaign marketing materials, as well as digital and social media assets at tucson.com/ readerschoicemarketing.
Winners will be announced Aug. 29 during a ceremony at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa.
Results will be published in the Arizona Daily Star and on Tucson.com.
