Ryan Clark

Celebrated Tucson chef Ryan Clark was named executive chef at Casino del Sol on Thursday, to oversee dining operations at Casino of the Sun and Casino del Sol Resort & Casino.

The move comes a year after Clark took over as chef de cuisine at PY Steakhouse, the resort's marquee restaurant.

In addition to the 10 restaurants at the resort — the Forbes Four Star and Wine Spectator award-winning PY Steakhouse, Ume, Tequila Factory and Abuelita’s Taqueria — Clark also will oversee all culinary operations including catering and in-room dining.

Clark, 32, has been a fixture in Tucson's culinary scene since starting at The Dish Bistro and then taking over the kitchen at Lodge on the Desert. Before joining PY Steakhouse, he was executive chef and part owner of Agustin Kitchen at Mercado San Agustin.
