El Conquistador Western Adventures will offer trail rides, horseback riding lessons, carriage rides and other equine activities.

The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort is getting back to its vaquero roots with an 18-horse stable.

As part of El Conquistador’s Western Adventures experience, the public and resort guests can take advantage of guided trail rides, horseback riding lessons, carriage rides and other equine-centered activities.

The stables will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m daily and are being operated by Pot A Gold Stables.

“We are thrilled to partner with Pot A Gold Stables to offer guided horseback rides along some of Tucson’s most sought-after trails,” said Ghee Alexander, general manager of Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort.

“This enhancement comes on the heels of the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador’s largest renovation in its 34-year history. With uniquely Southwest experiences at the core of the refresh, we think the stables will be a significant chapter in the resort’s storied history.”

Prices for a guided horseback ride start from $60 for one hour, $75 for 90 minutes and $100 for two hours. Sunset trail rides start at $80 for one hour, $95 for 90 minutes and $120 for two hours. Horseback riding lessons start at $75 for one-hour lessons.

Discounts will be given for groups of eight or more and packages can be customized upon request. Children ages 5 and up are welcome.
