Camarena-Williams, on comeback trail, qualifies for championships

Tucsonan Jill Camarena-Williams, who still owns the U.S. record in the indoor shot put, is making a comeback. Injured at the 2012 London Olympics, Camarena-Williams had back surgery and a baby (2-year-old Miley). But two weeks ago she qualified for the USA Track and Field Championships next month. Her husband, UA athletic trainer Dustin Williams, has been selected to be the head trainer for Team USA at the world championships in Beijing, August 22-30. That’s the competition Jill is working toward.
