St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave., in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southern Arizona, will host a book discussion from 4 to 5:30 p.m. the second Sunday of each month through November.

The study will begin Sunday, May 8, with a discussion of "Crazy in America: The Hidden Tragedy of Our Criminalized Mentally Ill" in the La Paz meeting room. Future reads will include books on empathy and cruelty, Alzheimer's, depression and other topics, according to press materials.
