It was a day of ties at the opening day of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta at Kino Memorial Stadium, Tucson, Ariz., October 6 2022. In the opener, Mexicali and Obregon ended 2-2. In the nightcap, the Arizona Wildcats had a three run lead slip away in a 6-6 tie with Hermosillo.
