Dave Koz is bringing his 2016 Christmas Tour to Fox Tucson Theatre tonight (Thursday, Dec. 15), and if the reviews are correct, expect to be dazzled musically and visually.
And expect to be transported back to a time when a Christmas show was more than great musicians — Koz joins Jonathan Butler, Kenny Lattimore and Ashford & Simpson’s Valerie Simpson — singing classic carols. The Columbus Dispatch said the show on Dec. 9 at the Palace Theatre was filled with "warmth and nostalgia."
Also expect humor; at a show in Atlanta in November, a girl dressed as a pixie came out on stage to buy Koz and Co. time to get ready. A few minutes later, the multiplatinum-selling saxophonist emerged wearing red pants and a bathrobe with a toothbrush in his mouth.
Tickets — $49 to $106 — are on sale here. Tonight's show at the Fox, 17 W. Congress St., starts at 7:30 p.m.
