Arizona Symphonic Winds “Sounds of the Southwest” — 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at Catalina Foothills High School Auditorium, 4300 E. Sunrise Drive. Tucson native and beloved mezzo soprano Korby Myrick joins the volunteer ensemble and Conductor László Veres for the premiere of Tucson composer Mark Wolfram’s “The Tucson March.” Veres, in a written statement, said he had mentioned to Wolfram in 2016 that “Tucson needs its own signature march to help remind people across the country and around the world of Tucson’s rich cultural heritage.” He asked Wolfram if he would compose it; hence “Tucson March,” a concert band piece that “is fun, light in nature and sounds a bit ‘Southwestern’. But mostly it’s a happy toe-tapping, whistle along good time!” Admission to Sunday’s concert is free, but donations are accepted. Details: facebook.com/ArizonaSymphonicWinds
