Pianist returns to Friends series

Pianist Behzod Abduraimov is returning to Arizona Friends of Chamber Music for a recital on Sunday, Nov. 6.

This is the Uzbekistani pianist’s second Tucson appearance after he had to beg off what was to have been his local debut in 2012 when he broke his thumb days before the event. He made up the date in November 2014.

His return Sunday will include works by Bach, Vivaldi, Schubert and Prokofiev. The concert, part of the Piano and Friends series, begins at 3 p.m. at Leo Rich Theatre, 260 S.
