Three weeks after closing North Modern Italian Cuisine in La Encantada, Fox Restaurant Concepts has launched North Fattoria Italiana in the space.
North Fattoria is an updated and homespun take on Italian cuisine, featuring more of a farm-to-table philosophy.
Fox completely renovated the space to the tune of nearly $1 million, according to Sam Fox, the company's founder and CEO. The restaurant closed Sept. 3 and all of the furnishings were auctioned off to make way for a complete renovation, from the layout of the restaurant to the furnishings.
The menu also has been reinvented, including the addition of a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays.
North Fattoria, located at La Encantada, 2995 E. Skyline Drive, opens for lunch at 11 a.m. today. Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, until 11 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.
