The Tucson Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet will inaugurate the orchestraโs new Center Stage Series at 2 p.m. today at Tucson Symphony Center.
The series will feature TSO ensembles and soloists performing in the intimate setting of the centerโs Performance Hall, 2175 N. Sixth Ave. The programs are designed by the musicians and cover everything from light classical works to jazz and folk songs.

A highlight will be Tucsonan Bob Atwellโs โFanfare for the Uncommon Woman,โ inspired by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
The TSO Center Stage series includes performances by the Piano Trio on Jan. 25, the Percussion Ensemble on March 7 and Concertmaster Lauren Roth with pianist Paula Fan on March 22.
