Two weeks after its first Tucson area locaiton opened, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is planning its second.
Freddy's will build a new restaurant on a 3,309 square foot pad at Circle Plaza Shopping Center, on the southeast corner of Broadway and Kolb Road. The opening will likely be spring 2013, store officials said.
Freddy's specializes in frozen custard, burgers and fries. It is the second Midwest burger and custard chain to come to Tucson this year; the first was Culver's, which opened last fall on Thornydale Road, about a mile from Freddy's at 3725 W. Orange Grove Road.
