The feature goes on to profile six local breweries and two beer bars including Borderlands, Pueblo Vida,Β Ten Fifty-Five Brewing, Iron John's and more.Β 

The article also talks to Pueblo Vida's Linette Antillon to find out what makes our beer scene unique: "... the decidedly toasty climate ... encourages 'a focus on beer styles that are low in alcohol, sessionable and refreshing.' Other outfits, like Iron John's and Borderlands, take inspiration from the arid landscape's native flora, incorporating ingredients like creosote flowers and prickly pear juice into their brews."
