Garth Brooks, left, is touring with his wife country singer Trisha Yearwood, shown here at the 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards at AT&T Stadium last April.

It's been 19 years since country music megastar Garth Brooks played a show in Phoenix.

It's been even longer since we've seen him on a Tucson stage and it's a sure bet it won't be anytime soon.

Which is why you should probably plan to get in the Ticketmaster que early Friday, Sept. 11, when tickets go on sale for Brooks' Oct. 23 and 24 show at Talking Stick Arena (formerly US Airways Center) in downtown Phoenix.

Tickets with all the fees included are $74.98 and are available beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 11 at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or by calling Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.
