Sentinel Peak reaches its Kickstarter goal
Aspiring Tucson brewery Sentinel Peak Brewing Co. has topped its $27,500 Kickstarter campaign goal.
Sentinel Peak’s founders — firefighters Jeremy Hilderbrand, Matt Gordon and Taylor Carter — hope to open the brewery Aug. 15 at 4746 E. Grant Road.
Nearly 165 backers pledged $30,598 as of Tuesday, $3,098 ahead of the $27,500 goal it set out to raise in mid-March when it signed onto the crowdsourcing website.
That includes seven backers who each pledged $500 — “The Norm Peterson” level, which includes a bar stool dedicated in the backer’s name for a year, in addition to other perks.
The campaign closes Friday.
