Casino Del Sol executive chef Ryan Clark pours wine at the 2019 Savor Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival.

More than 50 local restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries will be dishing out menu tastings at the seventh annual Savor Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival, Saturday, Feb. 8.

Seis Kitchen, Lodge on the Desert, Sand-Reckoner Vineyards, Dragoon Brewing and Whiskey Del Bac will be among the participants at the showcase, which runs from noon to 3 p.m. at Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N. Alvernon Way.

The event, a way to promote independently owned local restaurants, is a joint effort between the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona and the Tucson Botanical Gardens.

In addition to the eats, there will be live painting demonstrations from artists Eli Farias, Donovan White and Jesse Perry; a photo booth masquerade party with masks created by Riddlemetrue’s Leathercraft; and live music on several stages throughout the gardens.

The 21-and-older event is $79 general admission, with $125 VIP tickets available through saaca.org/savor.html
