But despite its familiar late-night ambiance, Bernardo's Mexican FoodΒ is actually a breakfast and lunch place. Bernardo Acosta and his family from Magdalena, Sonora serve up a simple menu of green chile burritos, carne asada fries and combo plates with rice and beans. They've been here on this little downtown corner for 4 and a half years now, but for some reason, they're still under the radar. Why?Β
