Popular foodie personality and honorary Tucsonan Alton Brown once again included the Old Pueblo in one of his "best of" lists. He counted Eegee's among his favorite summer treats in the U.S., along with the Snow Factory Truck in Haleiwa, Hawaii and Kopp’s Frozen Custard in Milwaukee.
Here's what he had to say ...
"Eegee’s (Tucson, AZ): If there was one place I had to visit, according to my fans, it was Eegee’s for a iced-thing. I tried half strawberry and half piña colada. It was really refreshing. Next time, I’ll probably just order the piña colada by itself."
