Daughtry, the "American Idol" champ turned Grammy-winning pop-rock superstar,Β is headlining Day 2 of the Oro Valley Music Festival on Oct. 2.
He will share the lineup with Simple Plan and Ben Rector and three other acts that have yet to be released.Β
Day 1 on Oct. 1 is devoted to country artists with Billy Currington, David Nail, Cassaddee Pope, Chris Janson, Dan + Shay and Brett Young.Β
This is the second time Oro Valley has hosted the festival, sponsored by My 92.9 FM and 97.1 The Bull. Last year's inaugural event, held in September, was only one day and was devoted to pop acts.Β
