The Mollys' Kevin Schramm and Nancy McCallion will perform at the St. Paddy's Day Dance Party at the Boondocks Lounge.

Tucson is celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Saturday with a couple of Irish concerts this weekend, including one featuring a musician flown in from the Emerald Isle for the occasion.

• On St. Patrick's eve Friday, In Concert, Tucson's leading purveyor of all things Celtic, is hosting a concert with a trio of original Solas members, including former lead vocalist Karan Casey, who flew in from Ireland earlier this week. She will join John Doyle and John Williams for a show at the Berger Performing Arts Center.

Casey, who sang on Solas' first three CDs, is considered one of Ireland's leading traditional singers. Doyle, who also played on those first three Solas CDs, has released three solo CDs. Williams, a concertina and button accordion virtuoso, also plays whistle, flute and bodhran.

The trio will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at Berger, 1200 W. Speedway. Tickets are $23 and $25 at inconcerttucson.tix.com

• Tucson's Irish folkers the Mollys play their annual Mollys & Friends St. Paddy's Day Dance Party at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Boondocks Lounge, 3306 N. First Ave. Admission is $10 at the door.

Expect to hear some Tex-Mex-infused Nancy McCallion originals with some twisted takes on traditional Irish jigs led by McCallion and Co.: Catherine Zavala, Kevin Schramm, Dan Sorenson and Gary Mackender. The five original Mollys will share the stage with Danny "Guitar Superhero" Krieger and Tom "Mr. Fiddle" Rhodes on electric violin.
