Expanses of Sweetwater Wetlands in Tucson have taken on the appearance of a Louisiana bayou this summer. Green duckweed on the surface of some ponds imparts a swampy look, while cattails and dense green growth temporarily obscure some -- but not all -- of the wetlands' open water.
