The Mulberry Fire is burning in the Santa Rita Mountains near Mt. Fagan south of Corona de Tucson. As of Sunday afternoon, the fire had burned around 162 acres, but firefighters did not expect it to grow anymore, said Heidi Schewel, spokeswoman for the Coronado National Forest. About 50 firefighters were assigned to the incident, Schewel said. The fire was reported before 5 p.m. Saturday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
