One of the Napa Valley’s most famous homeowners has put his mansion up for sale.
The St. Helena-area home of the longtime TV host Ryan Seacrest was listed Wednesday for $22 million, Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley said in a statement.
Originally built 20 years ago, the gated property recently underwent a renovation by the architectural designer Silvia Nobili, builder Grassi Construction and Clint Nicholas Design.

“Located in a lovely setting with beautiful, filtered views and privacy, what really stands out is the tranquility of the site. You are enveloped in this wonderfully diverse natural setting that is so relaxing — almost meditative,” Coldwell Banker listing agent Cyd Greer said in the news release.
Seacrest’s 40-acre property, with views of the valley floor and mountains, includes a Tuscan-style 8,650-square-foot main house with three bedrooms, a 1,200-square-foot guest cottage, and a pool house. Details of the main house include beams of reclaimed wood, antique French limestone, wide-plank oak flooring, and a 1980s Italian brass-and-leather dry bar by Willy Rizzo.

According to the Coldwell Banker announcement, the main home of Seacrest’s estate features an inner courtyard for entertaining, a chef’s kitchen and butler’s pantry, a main bedroom suite with its own office and terrace, and two guest suites. Other amenities include a library gallery, TV room, wine cellar, fitness room, and seven wood-burning fireplaces — one of them a kitchen fireplace with rotisserie and pizza oven.
Coldwell Banker reported that the estate is planted with mature trees and drought-tolerant native plantings. The grounds also include a heated infinity-edge pool and spa, bocce court, 220 fruiting olive trees, a built-in audio system, and a whole-property backup generator.
