The Pima County Public Library is looking to shine a spotlight on Tucsonβs teen and tween artists.
Works by fifth- through 12th-graders are being accepted now through Sept. 20 for the annual Worlds of Imagination Art Showcase.
Young artists may submit their 2D science fiction, fantasy, comics or manga-style artwork for consideration.
Selected pieces will be displayed at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave., in October.
Participants will also be entered into a raffle for prizes, including $50 in art supplies.
Up to three entries can be submitted per person. Media for the 2D pieces can be pen, pencil, ink, colored pencil, marker or digital.
For more information or to apply, pick up an entry form at a local library or download and print one at tucne.ws/wiac.
