Tickets are on sale now for the holiday lights festival coming to Tucson Botanical Gardens from Nov. 28 through Jan. 11.
"LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination" is billed as "trees dance under a million lights, tin stars twinkle, luminarias glow.
"Over a million LED lights are wrapped around trees and custom-built, oversized props including light tunnels, cypress-inspired spindle trees, punched-tin stars, a photo-op crescent moon, and a forest of silver trees. Luminarias line pathways and hang from giant luminaria chandeliers and archways."
The special event's ticket prices for Tucson Botanical Gardens members range from $21 to $45 for adults and $17 to $40 for ages 4 to 17; and for the general public, from $23 to $50 for adults and $19 to $45 for ages 4 to 17. Children younger than 4 will get in free.
Tucson Botanical Gardens is at 2150 N. Alvernon Way. Learn more and purchase tickets/make reservations for LightsUp! at TucsonBotanical.org.
