Casas Adobes Congregational Church of the United Church of Christ, 6801 N. Oracle Road, will celebrate four years of working in Nogales, Sonora with a festival 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1.Β
The church has worked with women in Nogales teaching crafting skills and rehabilitating a childcare center. Some of the needlework creations will be available for purchase. The event is free. There will also be music and food.Β
