The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies will present the talk "The Rise and Fall of Ladino (Judeo-Spanish), 16th-20th Centuries" 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road.Β 

The lecture by Aron Rodrigue, a professor of Jewish history and culture at Stanford University, will discuss Ladino, a language used by Sephardi Jews who left the Iberian Peninsula, according to press materials.Β
