Pielstick hasn’t seen a lot of collaboration between the various Buddhist groups in town, though he and others are making efforts to change that.

The Awam Tibetan Buddhist Institute, 3400 E. Speedway, will host its monthly movie night and potluck 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23.

The movie night is free, but participants are encouraged to bring a donation and food to share.Β
