You don’t have to buy anything else to get your free burrito at Illegal Pete’s on Saturday.

There are few things that get our attention quicker than “free breakfast burrito.”

And when Illegal Pete’s says it’s to celebrate a legit holiday — Free Breakfast Burrito Day, of course! — well, who are we to disagree.

So here’s the deal: Stop into the restaurant at 876 E. University Blvd. between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and grab a breakfast burrito any way you want — plain or slathered with green chile salsa — for free. There are no hidden conditions that you buy a coffee or a second entree; it’s totally free.

This is the second year that the Colorado-based restaurant chain — Tucson was its first location outside the Rocky Mountain state — has celebrated Free Breakfast Burrito Day. Check it out at facebook.com/IllegalPetesTucson
