Researchers at Swiss research university EPFL have developed a groundbreaking system that enables surgeons to control two additional robotic arms using foot controls during laparoscopic surgery. The system, which has been successfully trained and is undergoing clinical trials in Geneva, aims to reduce surgeon workload, enhance precision, and improve safety. Yair Ben-Dor has more.
