For the last two years during the holidays, the Star has profiled young Tucsonans who make us hopeful about our city’s future.
We learned about two boys who get up with the sun to serve the homeless at Southside Presbyterian Church and a 15-year-old who collects food and supplies for animal-rescue groups.
The submissions we received overwhelmed us. But in a good way.
With so many impressive young people in our community, we thought we’d bring the series back for a third year.
If you know someone 25 or younger who lives in Tucson and is making a difference in our city, in ways big or small, we want to know.
To nominate a young achiever or kind kid, email jwillett@tucson.com with your suggestions. Please include your full name, the nominee’s full name, contact information for both of you and the reason this person makes you hopeful for a brighter tomorrow.
Please submit all nominations by Sunday, Nov. 26.
