A Florida-based company is acquiring all seven auto dealerships operated by longtime dealer Lawley Automotive in Sierra Vista.

The dealerships will be the first in Arizona for the Ed Morse Automotive Group, which is based in Delray Beach, Florida and was founded in 1946.

With the Lawley sites, Morse has 55 dealership locations, 111 automotive, motorcycle and marine franchises, and 33 different brands in eight states.

Lawley was founded by Sean Lawley in 1995, and the seven Sierra Vista dealerships offer sales and service for Chevrolet, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Nissan makes.

β€œThis deal with Lawley is the ideal fit, as they are an established, family-owned, well-respected and well-run group of dealerships," Teddy Morse, chairman and CEO of Ed Morse Automotive Group, said in a news release.
