The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a freeze watch in some regions of Southern Arizona until Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Tucson areas include the far eastern and southern portions of metro and the Catalina Foothills.

The Tohono O'odham Nation, Green Valley, Vail, Mammoth and Oracle will also be affected.

Below freezing temperatures are expected to occur between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Residents are advised to wrap or drain outdoor water pipes that could potentially burst.

Tonight for most of Tucson calls for scattered showers, patchy fog after midnight and a low of 50 degrees.

Tomorrow will have a 30 percent chance of rain, wind gusts and a high of 56 degrees.
