It’s a Grind’s loss is Krispy Kreme’s gain. The doughnut purveyor is setting up shop in the now-closed coffee shop on North Oracle Road near West Magee Road.
Dan “Doughnut Dan” Brinton said the new shop should be open in a couple of weeks in the sprawling plaza that includes a Kohl’s store.
Brinton returned Krispy Kreme to Tucson this summer when he opened his first store at Cortaro Road and Interstate 10 in a space also formerly occupied by an It’s a Grind coffee shop.
