Although the rainfall is expected to be light, Tucson-area residents should see some showers Monday.Β 

The National Weather Service said a low-pressure system is bringing clouds, showers, and a few thunderstorms to southeastern Arizona. The system is approaching Tucson from the south and southwest, NWS maps show.Β 

So far, rain amounts are less than one-tenth of an inch.Β 

The NWS expects the rain to lessen in the afternoon. Temperatures should be lower than normal Monday, but will return to normal for the rest of the week.Β
