The temperature broke the record of 110 degrees set June 20, 2005.
On Tuesday, the morning is expected to be sunny with a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
The high is expected to hit between 104 to 110 degrees. The low is expected to hit between 75 to 81 degrees.
On Wednesday, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.Β
The high is forecasted to be between 103 to 109 degrees, and the low between 75 to 80 degrees.
