Wednesday will be the third day in a row that storms have made their way to the Tucson area.

The expected scattered showers have prompted aΒ Flash Flood Watch in the region until 5 a.m. Thursday. A flood watch is in effect when "conditions are favorable for flooding," the National Weather Service said.

Heavier showers and thunderstorms may arrive Wednesday afternoon.Β 

Tucsonans can expect drier conditions by Friday and into the weekend.
