Cochise County deputies arrested a 39-year-old rape suspect from Missouri Thursday, officials said.
Shortly after 1 p.m., deputies located Jonathan Buckley at a residence in the 5000 block of Oro Road, located east of Bisbee, said Carol Capas, a sheriff's office spokeswoman.
Buckley was sought in connection with outstanding rape and statutory rape warrants issued by the Lee Summitt Police Department in Missouri, Capas said.
Sheriff's officials were notified that the FBI has been involved in the search for Buckley, and Missouri officials have been notified of his arrest to arrange extradition, Capas said.
