Special agents with the Arizona Department of Gaming seized seven computerized slot machines from a Marana bar Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, gaming agents, along with Pima County Sheriff's deputies and agents from the Arizona Department of Liquor, served a warrant at The Water Hole, located at 16540 West Avra Valley Road, and found the slot machines, records of operations and a small sum of cash, department spokeswomanΒ Caroline Oppleman wrote in a news release.

No arrests were made but four people suspected of operating the illegal gaming machines could still face charges, ranging from promoting and benefiting from gambling to possession of illegal gambling devices, the release said.

The department of gaming will be filing charges through the Pima County Attorney's Office, the release said.

During a three-month long undercover investigating, gaming agents saw the bar operate illegal sweepstakes slot machine, while is illegal for the business and its customers, the release said.

According to a Wednesday post on The Water Hole's Facebook page, the bar will be closed for "the next few days" for "cosmetic and plumbing updates" that "interferes with normal operation."
