University of Arizona students, faculty and staff will work to fight hunger as they collect food in the 14th annual UA4Food effort.

Proceeds from this year’s drive will benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

The UA4Food Drive is a program on the UA’s Office of Community Relations and is supported by the Marshall Foundation.

Several organizations on campus will conduct individual food drives throughout the school year.

Here are some upcoming events:

  • Faculty and staff food drive through April 4. Participating departments and ambassadors are collecting nonperishable food on campus.
  • “Stuff the CatTran” from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 4 at the Cherry Street bus pullout at North Cherry Avenue and East University Boulevard. The eighth annual event is organized by the Classified Staff Council and Parking and Transportation Services. The community is also encouraged to drop off nonperishable food items and cash donations at this event.
  • Spring Fling food drive from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m April 13. Get $5 off your Spring Fling wristband with a donation of four cans of food.
