Davis-Monthan Air Force Base will hold an operational readiness exercise through Thursday, authorities said.
The exercise will increase activity on the base. Alarms, sirens and loudspeaker announcements may be heard in neighborhoods near the base, according to a news release.
The exercises are routine and held so personnel can be proficient and ready for worldwide military and humanitarian operations, the release v.
