Arizona cities with cool names
- Updated
Are you Eagar or Lazy (Y U)? Is Del Muerto where the ghosts of people from Tombstone go to rattle chains? Are we surprised by Surprise? Is Top-of-the-World higher than So-Hi?
Many of these places aren't cities or towns. Some are barely wide spots in the road. They are all Census Designated Places, meaning there's a community, even if it isn't incorporated.
Populations are mostly from 2010, the larger cities have 2013 populations. Median household income figures are from 2010 as well.
You may be tickled by another place name in Arizona. We're sorry if it wasn't included, but we had to make choices.
