The Ironwood Ridge High School marching band is going to Hawaii to participate in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade on Dec. 7.
Nearly 50 students will represent Arizona in the memorial parade, which honors survivors, veterans and active duty service members and their families.Β
Ironwood Ridge students will perform patriotic music, holiday tunes and music from the band's fall repertoire. They will also have an opportunity to perform on the USS Missouri and get a tour of the USS Arizona memorial.Β
The band is returning to Tucson on Wednesday, Dec. 9.Β
