The Rincon/University marching band took to the streets Tuesday evening to bring its performance to the TUSD Governing Board.

The band made its way from the campus, 421 N. Arcadia Ave., to the Duffy Family Resource Center where the board meets about half a mile away.

The Ranger Band was recognized during Superintendent H.T. Sanchez's monthly report for finishing at the top of regional and state competitions this season.

As part of his report, Sanchez noted that spending for TUSD band uniforms has been frozen but that is being lifted and the RUHS band will be the first to benefit.
