The driver of this pickup was trapped and had to be removed with the jaws-of-life, suffering only minor injuries.

Two women sustained minor injuries in a rollover accident on I-10 Friday night, even though one needed to be extricated from her vehicle, authorities said.

Northwest Fire crews arrived at the Marana on-ramp of eastbound I-10 shortly after 10 p.m. to reports of a two-vehicle crash with one of the vehicles rolled over and the driver trapped, said department spokesman Capt. Adam Goldberg.

Firefighters used the Jaws-of-Life to remove the roof of a pickup truck on its side, freeing the trapped woman in about 15 minutes.

She was taken to a hospital by ambulance and was in stable condition. The woman driving the second vehicle also sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital, as well, Goldberg said.

Both of the drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The eastbound on-ramp to I-10 at Marana Road was closed for several hours while the Arizona Department of Safety investigated.Β
