A pedestrian died as a result of a vehicle collision on East Broadway, Tucson police said.
Gloria Miller, 66, died Feb. 21 after a pickup truck struck her the day before while walking near 6025 E. Broadway, Tucson police said in a news release Monday.
The address matches the location of the Best Buy store across from Park Place mall.Β
The driver of the truck told police he was making a westbound turn onto East Broadway when he βfelt a bump,β the news release said. The driver was unharmed in the collision and provided aid to Miller until paramedics arrived. Miller did not display any injuries, but was taken to Banner University Medical Center for evaluation due to diminished alertness.Β
Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision.
