The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect caught on surveilance crawling around the floor of the home, authorities said.

On Oct. 9, deputies responded to a home in the 4400 block of North Placita Camaleon, where they were told by the homeowner that someone broke into the residence and he had video of the suspect on his security camera, said department spokesman Deputy Tracy Suitt.

The suspect matched the description of a man who burglarized a home in the 5400 block of North Placita Gato Montes in early September, where he is believed to have stolen more than $9,000 worth of items, Suitt said.

Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
